On September 11, 2015 Janet Lee Hanson of Baltimore, MD, beloved daughter of the late Richard Phillip Hanson and the late Eleanor Tomlin Helms Ward and her husband, Robert F. Ward of Baltimore, MD; dear sister of Katherine R. Smith of Fulton, MD and Robyn Webb of Baltimore, MD; dear aunt of Katherine E. Smith and devoted neice of Jane Blaustein, Samuel T. and Christopher Lee Helms. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of the Church of the Redeemer, 5603 N. Charles Street at Melrose Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21210 on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 11:00 A.M., with a reception to follow in the parish hall. Inurnment private. I would like to offer my deepest condolences to the family of Janet. She was a wonderful person. I meet Janet when she worked at UMMC and she was so sweet. She was always there with words of encouragement and a laugh. She became my friend and she will be missed.
