James E. Dice (Age 84)

On April 9, 2022, James E. Dice, age 84, in Arlington, VA. Survived by his life partner, Duward F. Sumner of Arlington; brother Ronald L. Dice of Maryland; nieces Julie Mathews and Corey Lee Welsh, both of Illinois; and a grand-niece and three grand-nephews. Predeceased by both parents and brother Donald J. Dice of Peru, IN. Born in Bloomington, IN, he lived in Peru, graduated from Indiana University in 1959 and Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1963. Served in U.S. Navy from 1963 until retiring as Commander in 1986. He and his partner lived in the Washington, DC area since 1969. No service is planned.
