Ann L Morytko

Ann L. Morytko, 78, of Ocala, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, Ann was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John C. Morytko, and her sister, Mary Brin. She is survived by her daughter, Lesa Smithies; son-in-law, John Smithies; and her cherished granddaughter, Emily Smithies, who was the joy of her life. She also leaves behind her loving brothers, Joe Styckiewicz, Paul Styckiewicz, Carl Styckiewicz, and Alan Styckiewicz. Ann retired from Smith & Wesson Manufacturing after a long and dedicated career. She was known for her strong work ethic, loyalty, and the friendships she built during her years with the company. She lived her life with deep faith, strength, and love. A proud Catholic, Ann drew comfort and courage from her faith throughout her journey. She found joy in traveling and treasured every moment spent with her granddaughter, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love. A funeral service will be held on September 6th at 8:30 a.m. at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to breast cancer research, in honor of Ann's legacy and to support others bravely facing this disease. Ann will be remembered for her unwavering strength, her warmth, and her deep devotion to family. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
