Ella Gibbons Keith Charnley Obituary

Ella Gibbons Keith Charnley passed away peacefully April 2, 2025 at the age of 97. Ella was born to Fred and Elouise Gibbons in Archer, Florida on August 8, 1927, and grew up with 5 siblings. She graduated with a nursing degree from Emory University and married her first love, Jimmy Keith, in 1949. They built their lives in Ocala raising 3 children. After Jimmy's death, she married Raymond Charnley and spent more than 30 happy years together. Ella was known for her sweet soul. She was an incredible seamstress and cook. She showed her love to people through her delicious cooking. Ella was preceded in death by her daughter, Julie, and leaves behind 2 children, 6 grandchildren, and 6 greatgrandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at First Presbyterian Church beginning at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to First Presbyterian Church or Hospice of Marion County.
