Gregory Krill Obituary

Gregory Mark Krill, 76, of The Villages, Florida, and Adrian, Michigan passed away peacefully on August 7, 2025, at Select Specialty Hospital. Greg was born on January 21, 1949, in Wauseon, Ohio. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and a loyal friend to many. His pride in his friends and family will be eternally present in memories of his insistence on being present for any event possible whether it was a sport or a passionate hobby. Greg was a music lover who found great joy in listening to and sharing his favorite songs. He was also a huge sports fan, especially fond of football, golf, and baseball. GO BLUE! Greg often reminisced about his childhood summers spent at Nettle Lake with his grandparents where he helped them at their campground and store. He loved being close to the water to swim and to relax. Greg embraced life with generosity, enthusiasm, warmth, and humor. He will be remembered for his kind heart, quiet strength, and unwavering love for his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ida of 54 years; and their three children: Kevin and his wife Kathleen, Kristen and her husband Lance, and Branden and his wife Lindsey. He was the cherished grandfather of eight: Maddy, Alek, Ashton, Elle, Lily, Colin, Emme, and Callie and sister Linda Krill. Greg was preceded in death by his grandparents Clyde, and Zelma, his mother Joyce, and father Joe, and his sisters Kimmy and Kelly. A celebration of his love and life will be held at a later date in Adrian. In lieu of flowers please feel free to donate to a charity of your choice in Greg's name.

Greg was loved by everyone and rightfully so, He was a wonderful man! Ida you and the kids were blessed to have Greg and I can only imagine the pain his loss brings to you. We will continue to pray for all of you but the pain will ebb into moments of beautiful memories, just without his laughter in the room. You have our condolences, we love you.

As a highschool freshman, I viewed Greg as the kind of athlete I wanted to be. As a man, Greg became the husband and father that all men should aspire to be.

What a wonderful, funny, intelligent and witty man!! He always made me laugh and I will never forget our friendship through the years! We didn´t see each other for a very long time and yet when we met up in Florida it was like old home week!! Pilar loved him as much as Ed did and it was so much fun when we were together!!
Rest in peace, my dear friend! We will miss you!!! Andrea Wilson Leon

Ida and Krill family,

My heart weeps with you all. Greg was such a great person to be around. I enjoyed spending summer days of my youth at Nettle Lake with him and our family. Those will always be treasured memories to me which I will hold close to my heart.

May you find comfort, strength and peace in God´s loving arms.

Love always,
Robyn
