Joseph Anthony Lazzaro, 84, of North Fort Myers, Florida, passed away on April 28, 2025, peacefully in his home surrounded by his family. Joe was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, to Bruno and Caroline Lazzaro on April 17, 1951. He married Victoria Churko on April 11, 1981 in Prado's Restaurant in Rutherford, New Jersey. He worked as a union president for Sequa Corporation for 32 years. Joe was preceded in death by his father Bruno Lazzaro, mother Caroline Lazzaro, brother-in-law Thomas Biancamano, and sister Carol Romano. Joe is deeply missed by his wife, Victoria, loving children Jospeh Lazzaro Jr., Robert Lazzaro, Bruno Lazzaro, Nicole Wilcox and Natalie Russell, his son in-law's Chad Wilcox, and Brandon Syrek, his sister's Florence Biancamano, MaryAnn MIndek, and Antoinette Bruno, his brother-in-law's, Jack Mindek, Lenny Romano, and Patsy Bruno, his loving grandchildren, Danielle Spina, Anthony Lazzaro, Taylor Wilcox, Harper Wilcox, Brinley Wilcox, and Everlee Syrek, and his great-granddaughter Brooke Burmeister. Joe will always be remembered for his kindness, generosity and sense of humor. We will always imagine hearing him say "Are you out of your F****** minds!" one more time. We couldn't have asked for a better son, husband, brother, father, uncle, grandfather and so much more. We will miss Joe every day. His memory will live on in the hearts of all that loved him.
