Vivian Jamian Obituary

Vivian Jamian, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025, at the age of 98. Born on March 9, 1927, Vivian's life was a testament to grace, strength, and boundless love. A devout Christian, she lived her life with unwavering faith, and her spirit touched all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Vivian's heart was always full of song. Whether she was humming in the kitchen or sharing a hymn at church, her love for music was a constant in her life. She passed on her love of singing to her family, always filling her home with melody. As a mother, she was the very definition of selflessness. She embraced raising her three sons with unmatched dedication and love, pouring her heart into every moment of their lives. Her unwavering support and guidance shaped them into the men they are today. Vivian's love for her sons was fierce and unbreakable, and they will forever cherish the countless memories of her nurturing presence. Her home was often filled with the delicious aromas of Armenian cooking, and she took great joy in preparing meals for her family. She especially loved having her children around the dinner table, savoring both food and time spent together. For years, she lovingly crafted handmade Christmas stockings, a cherished tradition that brought her joy in creating something special for her loved ones. Vivian was also a passionate traveler, having explored countries like England, France, Israel, and Paris, and even flew aboard the iconic SST. Her curiosity and love of history fueled countless conversations, where she would eagerly share her knowledge and insights. She had an incredible zest for life, which extended to her hobbies as well-she was an active member of the Ocala Boat Club and loved boating in her free time. Vivian's impact extended far beyond her immediate family, and her influence will be felt by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, grace, and resilience that will continue to inspire all who were touched by her warmth and wisdom. Vivian is survived by her two sons, Douglas James Jamian, and Brian Noel Jamian- two daughters- in laws Karen (June) Jamian and Shirley Hodges Jamian- six grandchildren Becky Jamian Frady (husband David) Laiken Jamian, Melissa Jamian and Brian Jamian Jr. - ten great grandchildren Tye Jamian, Rylee Jamian, Sofia Jamian, Saylor Jamian, Savannah Jamian, Christopher Fleck-Jamian, Nathalie Jamian, Mikaela Jamian, Nathanial Frady, Elizabeth Frady and five great great grandchildren and many dear friends and extended family who were touched by her warmth and spirit.
