Jonathan Dengler Obituary

Jonathan Paul Dengler passed away on April 3, 2025 at the age of 48. Born on September 24, 1976 in Ithaca, NY, Jon was a talented artist known for his work with clay in his younger years. He was also known to his siblings as a kind and protective big brother. As an adult he explored many creative endeavors, working as a painter, moving houses and lighthouses, and even owning a food truck. He was always brimming with ideas for new business ventures. Jon is survived by his beloved son Maximus Von Dengler, his brother Michael Von Dengler, and his sisters Nell Valentine and Amanda Jenks. A memorial service will take place at 11;30am on April 27, 2025 at Zirbel's Funeral Home, 115 Williams St in Groton, NY. Friends and family are invited to come together to remember Jon and share their memories and experiences of him.
