Edward Clark Obituary

Edward "Ed" Lee Clark, 85, of Lafayette, Indiana, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025. Ed was faith based, being a member of the St. James Lutheran Church. Born on February 24th, 1940, in Lafayette, Indiana, Ed was the son of Robert and Helen Clark. Ed was the life of the party, had a love for people and a smile for everyone. That's how he earned the nicknames "Easy Ed" and "Eddie Spaghetti." On August 21, 1965, Ed married the love of his life, Janis. Together, they had 3 daughters, Sheri, Julie and Susan. Ed, along with his brother Dennis, was an owner of Lafayette Glass. He was also a proud U.S. Army veteran. Ed had many passions in life. He enjoyed breakfast club with his friends, fishing trips, golfing, and living the lake life on Lake Freeman. He loved garage sales and getting deals. He was a member of the American Legion, JAYCEEs and Optimist Clubs and Eagles. Above all else, Ed enjoyed his family. He is survived by his loving wife Janis, his daughter Sheri Ludlow (Jason), his daughter Julie Bills (Bobby) and daughter Susan Wiseman (Roger); his beloved grandchildren, Kaylee Toler, Clorissa Knight, Tyler Wiseman, Malorie Marchand, Melanie Marchand and Allie Marchand; along with 8 great grandchildren. Ed was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Helen Clark, his brother Dennis Clark and his sister, Ginny Hayden. Ed will be remembered for his kindness and the way he made everyone around him feel. His love for life and for those he held dear will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. You will be missed. I met Ed through his daughter Susan in middle school. I fell in love with this family!! I would go to there house all the time. I really miss you all. Prayers for all of you and the family!!
