Catherine Ann Stefaniak

Catherine Ann Stefaniak, 61, passed away on April 6, 2025. She was greatly loved by her family and friends. She is survived by her parents, Nicholas and Barbara; brother Nicholas; sister Mary; sister-in-law Judy; and niece Janeane. She was born and raised in Arizona. She was active in Girl Scouts in grade school and high school, attaining the rank of First Class. She graduated from ASU with a Bachelor degree in Health Education. She had an excellent sense of humor and enjoyed making others laugh. Although some of her jokes were corny or considered "groaners," we kept coming back for more. She loved animals and enjoyed sharing funny animal videos that she found online. She had a vibrant personality that brightened the world around her. She was a generous soul who would listen without judgment when someone needed a sounding board or when they were just in need of a friend. She will be deeply missed. The visitation will be held on April 14, 2025 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Hansen Mortuary on 7th Street and a memorial service will be held at St. Stephen's Byzantine Catholic Church on 16th Street on April 21, 2025 with the Rosary at 4:30pm, mass at 5:00pm, followed by the inurnment in the church's on-site columbarium.
