Donald Wareham Obituary
Donald E. Wareham, 86, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away January 23, 2017 after a courageous battle with COPD. Don was preceded in death by his wife of more than 53 years, Geneva Wareham. He was a proud and loving father of three children, Kathy Smith and husband, Wally, of Bernalillo, Mark and wife, Connie, of Albuquerque, and Laura Crosse and husband, Kevin, of Scottsdale, AZ. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Michael and wife, Kelly Lichtenberger, Leighann Lichtenberger, Damon Lichtenberger, Julie and husband, Michael Saavedra, Amanda and husband, Tim Cline, Lindsey Wareham and Jordan and Kyle Crosse, as well as eight great-grandchildren and one on the way.
After serving in the Air Force, Don finished his career with Frontier Airlines. The family extends its thanks to the Palmilla Senior Living staff for their kind and compassionate care during this difficult time, as well as a special thank you to OnPointe Hospice for the wonderful comfort care they provided.
