He was half of the best duo ever. When I was younger I listened to them all the time. Especially special was the tribute to their wives song. I’m so sad he passed. Condolences to his family. He was awesome.

Summer Breeze makes me feel fine, blowing through the Jasmine in my mind. What a lyric. I was taken by this duo the minute I heard them perform. What a talent and such beautiful harmonies. What memories I connect with this duo. I bet I about played the grooves off the Summer Breeze LP when I got it. The world has lost a brilliant talent. RIP Mr. Seals. May the road rise to meet you until we meet again.

I had the inmense pleasure to see then twice in concert in Toronto. I met them personally and chatter with them and they were so gracious and humble.
One of my favorite groups/ duos of all time. Their heavenly music, inspiring lyrics and amazing harmonies are timeless. We lost a true poet,aremarkable musicians and kind soul.

Jimmy Seals was part of the talented duo of Seals and Crofts, who defined the "Soft Rock" era of the 1970's. He was a gifted and talented musician, one of the very best of his era. Their songs are forever etched in my soul. I remember him also as a strong man of Faith, full of praise and love. May he rest in peace.

Seals & Crofts filled my life w/their original/unique & easy listening music during my high school yrs. Bought their albums regularly. I remember reading they were very religious & sang often about their religious beliefs combined with much love for each of their wives & children. Always loved their song "Hummingbird" & of course like other millions of fans "Summer Breeze". Easy songs to visualize as they sang & played them brilliantly. Deep condolences for Jim's family, friends & Mr. Croft's, hsi brilliant mandolin player, singing & writing partner. Jim was full of musical talent. Seals & Crofts will always represent & remind me of my early youth. Sad I never was able to see t& hear hem live in concert. RIP

RIP Jim ,, i only would like to say, while i was preparing to head back to college in summer, 1979, i pondered how this would be the year i would take courage to begin my career for what major i excelled in, and probably not return my hometown: Just then the song "Never pass this way again" by Jim Seals and Croft came playing over car radio ,, it motivated and encouraged ne to go further ,, God bless those guys!!

I saw you play in Pueblo, Colorado (1975) and enjoyed your music from the first time I heard it in 1973. You will never know what you meant to me as a young woman, coming of age. To you and Dash, thanks!

I am brought to tears reading of Jim Seals' passing. The music of Seals and Croft was and remains a part of my fondest memories from my youth. I saw them in concert in Asheville, NC in the late 70's, it was amazing. My LP collection includes all of their albums. RIP Jim and know that you will never be forgotten. Your music lives on.
