John Bartolotta Obituary

Bartolotta, John Anthony (Tony)

John Anthony (Tony) Bartolotta, age 58, beloved husband, father, and grandfather GG was called to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on March 9, 2016. He was born on April 18, 1957 in Burbank, CA to Giovanni (John) and Maria (Mary) Bartolotta.

Tony is survived by his wife of 27 years, Patricia Bartolotta; son, Keith (Cindy) Paulus; daughters, Tracy (Matthew) Fawver, Tiffany (Edwin) Quintana, Talia (Andrew) Houser; grandchildren, Tyler, Shayla, Lilliana, Ryley, Garrett, Elizabeth, Greyson, Kinsley, Oliver; and sister, Linda Bothwell; and niece Blair O'Neill.

Tony was raised in Orange County California and spent much of his childhood at the beach. In his early twenties he attended Arizona Automotive Institute and then relocated to Albuquerque to be closer to his parents. Here he met his wife, Tricia in 1986. Here he also began his long career in Real Estate. He was a true champion and leader in this field, becoming a founding member of Superior Mortgage Services in 1994 and RE/MAX Alliance Realtors in 1998 where he served as owner/broker until his death.

Tony loved spending time with his family and friends, working in his yard, grilling, playing golf, traveling the world, and swimming in the Sea of Cortez with his grandchildren. He loved the beauty of God's creation - taking much joy in the mountains, oceans, and sunsets with those he loved. He will be greatly missed. According to God's grace in Jesus, we look forward to seeing him again in the New Heavens and the New Earth. We love you Giovanni Antonio Bartolotta.

Services will be held Monday, March 21, 2016, 10:00 a.m. at Desert Springs Church, 705 Osuna Rd, Albuquerque, NM 87113. Please visit our online guest book for Tony at www.FrenchFunerals.com.

We lived next door. Tony was a great neighbor and wonderful family man! He was blessed with a lovely wife and wonderful children. I always admired the way the family all got together on Sundays and enjoyed family time. Sending well wishes and prayers to the family on this anniversary of his death...

My name is Gary Grinkevich and I went to trade school with Tony at Arizona Automotive Inst. I am very sorry to hear of Tony's passing. I knew him all the way back to high school in Placentia, Ca.
He was one of my best friends and I am going to miss him very much. May he rest in the peace of our Lord. My thoughts are with Tony's family.

Tricia SO SORRY TO HEAR OF YOUR LOSS!

I am so sorry to hear of Tony's passing. He was a good friend while I was in college at UNM, starting as my boss at Kentucky Fried Chicken! We remained friends, and on the rare occasion I made it back to Albuquerque from Long Island, I tried to get to see him through my brother John, and friends I had in Albuquerque who were still his friends.

He was one of the first people I met in Albuquerque. He always made me feel welcome and comfortable, helping me to learn about the city, sometimes just by showing me around on a ride home from work. Other times we got together with groups of friends for a BBQ.

I believe GOD has a plan for everyone and everything. I don't know why he had to take Tony so early, and my heart goes out to his family, who never knew there was a young woman he helped feel a little less lost in a "foreign" land. Thank you, Tony, for your friendship.

My prayers are with you all.

Tricia,

I am so sorry to hear the news of Tony's death. Tim Peterson informed me of his passing. The three of us and some other men were in a Bible study together during our time in Albuquerque. I enjoyed his friendship, he was a generous supporter of our ministry for several years, and always spoke so fondly of you.

I prayed for you this morning and will continue to lift you up as you go through this time of loss.

From the heart,

Joe Ewing

Trish and family,
I'm so sorry to learn of Tony's passing. I know I haven't seen much of you guys in quite awhile so it was good to briefly see Tony a month or so ago at church. I know he was fighting the best he could. It was a privilege to know him.

I will continue to pray for you all as you deal with his loss.

Sincerely,

Tim Peterson

Bartolotta Family, I just heard the news which saddens me deeply. I met Tony 20+ years ago in which he represented myself as the buyer of my current home. He sure was the gentle giant whose smile softened any hurdle that came along. I was shopping for a place in the south valley in which he told me quite honestly "I don't know my way around that area"--so I replied to him--"Jump in my car we are going for a ride in the neighborhood". It was a successful journey in finding my home that I cherish to this day. Thank you again, Tony. May you be the Forever Smiling Angel.

We are so sorry to hear about Tony's passing. He was so understanding and a fun realtor. Sometimes it seemed he was psychic and knew when we were in town. He was uncanny calling when we landed in NM. We lucked out and also got Edwin his kwirky "side kick" to show us around. He was my daughter's NM Dad and my honorary Italian connection as we looked at countless homes. We finally found one and always meant to get together at the Tamaya but never got around to it. We will miss you and always keep our fond memories of our time together close to our heart. He was a wonderful man.

Living next door to Tony, we saw first hand how he and Trish loved their family and friends. There was never a Sunday where they did not have a house full of loved ones. We always saw the gentle kind hearted side of Tony. He would always have a smile when talking about his travels, and stories of how proud he was of his family. He was a good man! He was a great neighbor. We will miss him. God bless.

Tricia and family, Just additional note to express our love and admiration for Tony. We first met Tony in the late fall of 1997 when he listed a house we had built to sell in North Albuquerque Acres on Desert Mountain Road. We asked him to share with us how he came to know the Lord and during that time it we seem to remember that you were recovering from cancer. He sold that house in Jan. 1998. We became friends and that continued when we retired back home here in 2011 and asked him to find us a house and we purchased one in Four Hills from him. The last time we saw Tony was when he dropped by to check on us. So thankful that we got to know him and could see Jesus in him. So thankful that we all know he is with Jesus now!
He lived what he believed and will always remember him as our good friend. May God be so very close to you and your family in these days, weeks, months and years ahead. Because of Whose We Are, Jerry & Becky Evans
