David Hill Obituary
An Open House to celebrate his life will be held at the Hill residence on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
David was born in Salem, Ore., on Aug. 8, 1949. He moved to Alaska in 1959. He moved to Big Lake, Alaska, in 1973. He has owned and operated Valley Moving & Storage since 1985.
David loved fishing and numerous other outdoor activities. He enjoyed going to Las Vegas, Nev., and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Sidonia Hill; sons, Allen Hill and David Seber; daughters, Ginel Meehan and Stacy Haverlah; sisters, Lois Johnson, Judy Carda and Gail Vega; brother, Lloyd Hill; five grandchildren, with one on the way; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Elvera Corkery and Raymond Hill.
Arrangements were made with Janssen Funeral Homes.
