I met Everett in 1979 in WA state when he visited our farm. My dad Dale Murray introduced me to him and Everett told me about his trooper service in AK. Everett was an amazing, tough MAN! Dad shared our faith in Christ with Everett and when I ended up moving to AK I often wondered about Everett and where he was. Now, I know. What a gift he has been to the people of Alaska and the world. God bless your family, the memories of his life and what he did that mattered for eternity. After 20 years in my beloved AK, I now live in TN for seven years doing God's will. That is always the best choice for one. I saw Perry's post also. Bought a coat for my wife from his store when we lived there. Perry, thank you for remembering Everett. He made a difference. He did work that counted. His life was significant. I see that Everett left on Oct 12 on 2008. My daddy also left this life on Oct 12, 2001. They meet again seven years later. Seven is God's perfect number.

Everett's testimony was largely about his tour of Heaven and Hell with Jesus. He knows his way around already. The Lord sent him back for a time to share with his family, friends and anyone who would listen to the Good News that Jesus is coming back soon. We need to make Jesus the Lord of our lives and Everett shared that with a boldness and urgency in Christlike love and compassion, along with his ability to belly laugh, which was contagious. The Spirit that drove him was powerful yet humble. We will miss our friend and brother until we see him in Glory. May that same Spirit rule in all our hearts and bring comfort and healing to Everett's family and friends both young and old.
