Lisa and Family, Although I only had the pleasure of meeting Jeannie once, she will be forever ingrained in my mind. Her passion for fishing, family and all the stories my mother has told me growing up will always keep her spirit alive

Aunty Jean was like the mother I never really had. I still expect to get a call from her & hear her say "Sis-lets go to Vegas!" I was blessed to be part of the family. She's now in that great big golden casino in the sky always hitting the jackpot.

Erik, Lisa and family, sending you Condolences on the loss of you your mom. Jean was was a firecracker! She cooked a mean meal, always inviting her guest into her kitchen to watch, listen and learn, then help out! The one thing that really stands out for me was to put your lipstick on before your guest arrive!
Sending my love to all.

Erik, Lisa and family,
My sincere condolences,
I have fond memories of your moms gracious hosting, allowing us to stay at her home-way back in the day-down in Girdwood.
I learned a lot from her, especially never to use soapy water on her egg pan.... ;)
She was touch, elegant with a generous heart- A true Alaskan!
All my love to you all-Karen

I met Jean in 2007 on a fishing trip to Alaska with Eric. I will never forget her wit and her caring personality. She invited us into her house. Prepared delicious food and made strong coffee. She told me her fishing memories and showed me how to "correctly" fillet a salmon. She talked about her family. I fished with Bob and Steve out of Homer. Jean sent food down with Bob. She showed me her smoker and her different flowers. She shrugged when a black bear was sighted near the back yard. Jean is,to me,one of those rare souls you are blessed to meet in life. I will never forget! JS
