Pamela Kapoor Obituary


Pamela Gonzales Kapoor, 33, of Austin, Texas was called home to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2016. She was born to Cecilia Gonzales on Feb. 22, 1982, in Houston, Texas.

Pamela attended Academy Del Sol High School before attending New Mexico State University of Alamogordo to study Computer Technology. She was an active member in the Hispanic Pride Club and numerous arts and crafts club. She actively participated in her son Joseph's Weebelow Boy Scout Club Patch 729. She worked as a Sr. Marketing Manager at CenturyLink in Austin, Texas. She specialized in sales and marketing and was always a bright and cheery team-player who embraced sharing best practices and building trusting relationships with clients both internal and external.

Whether the songs of Selena or Fleetwood Mac were blaring in the background, one could always see her swaying to the sounds of her favorite music. She also had a fashion sense like no other and was never afraid to walk the runway. She was a true fashionista by every sense of the word. Pamela also loved baking for her sweet tooth, as well as her loved ones, with her passion being cupcakes. She also loved to shop and take pleasure in showering her loved ones with gifts for all their Un-Birthdays. Always humble and kind, she frequently thought of others and gave unconditional love to everyone in her life.

Pamela is survived by her husband, Shvet Kapoor; her son, Joseph Flores; sisters Sonia Marie Pena and Francesca Pena; Sonia's boyfriend, Michael Terrazas; mother, Cecilia Gonzales; grandmother Juanita Sisneros; mother and father-in-law, Usha Kapoor and Dr. B. K Kapoor; brother in-law Saurabh Kapoor; sister-in-law Jyotika Kapoor. She is also survived by her niece, Kiara Simental; nephews Cesario Simental, Savien Trujillo, Sergio Serna, and Isreal Vargas; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and friends.

Pamela is preceded in death by her grandfather, Jose Sisneros, and aunts and uncles that truly adored her.

The love and support for Pamela has been nothing short of phenomenal and serves as a testament to what a beautiful and wonderful woman she was.
