Robert "Bobby" E. Silva
(May 24, 1961 - January 14, 2016)
Bobby, 54, went to be with the Lord after a short, courageous fight with cancer, on January 14, 2016 in El Paso, Texas. He was born May 24, 1961 in Tularosa, New Mexico to Edward and Clara (Garcia) Silva Jr.
Bobby graduated from Alamogordo Senior High School in 1979. He drove a semi-truck across North America, eventually settling in Alamo and driving for Otero County. He then became the owner of Bobby Silva Bail Bonds, helping numerous people in need and "Holding the Key to Their Release." He loved to hunt, fish, camp, and spend time with his family. He was also an avid supporter of the local High School and Community Sports.

He is survived in life by the love of his life, Veronica "Ronnie" Ortega, his parents Edward and Clara Silva, his children Garydon (Nicole), Bobbyray, Marissa Ruiz (Adrian), Brittany, Cassidy, and Anthonio. Siblings Rick (Anna), Lorraine Eoff (Kevin), Ray (Karen), Paul (Jenise), Mark (Melissa), and Tim; 10 grandchildren, with one on the way, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Bobby was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and one grandson.

Services will be held at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Alamogordo. Rosary at 10 am and Mass at 11 am, Saturday, January 23, 2016 with Internment to follow at the La Luz Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the Alamogordo High School, Hot Shots Soccer Team, and/or a local Cancer Charity in his name

The Silva family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the arrangements
