AVERY, AIDEN, AND CINDY MORENO Avery Moreno Passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023 in Alice, Texas from injuries received in an auto accident. Avery Celest Moreno was an all around beautiful soul. She was a vibrant young lady and loved all animals, especially cows. She was an AB Honor Roll student at Agua Dulce Secondary School. She loved school and excelled in her AP classes. She was a Jr. High Cheerleader, and played volleyball & basketball. She was a Breeding Cattle Exhibitor for The A3 Show Team. She participated in the Nueces County Junior Livestock Show. Avery was always laughing and made friends everywhere she went. She loved baking, making TikToks, and being with her family and friends. She was her daddy's girl and a free spirit, just like her mom. Aiden David Moreno, age 16, Passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023 in a local hospital from injuries received in an auto accident. Aiden David Moreno was a very kind, courageous, & loyal soul. He was an all around athlete who had so much respect and passion for everything he would do. He was a great friend to many and an exceptional young man. Aiden had aspirations of playing college football and would work hard every off season in preparation for the next. He was a sophomore at Agua Dulce High School. He was 2021 Academic All District Basketball, 2022 All District Football 1st Team Offense, All District 2nd Team Defense, Academic All District Football and Academic All District Basketball. He played 7v7 Football and made lasting friendships with all his brothers on the field. His love for football was undeniable. He maintained a 90 GPA both Freshman and Sophomore year. He was an avid gamer that had numerous friends he made from all over the country. He was absolutely adored by his family and loved by so many. Cindy Moreno, age 34, Passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023 in Alice, Texas from injuries received in an auto accident. Cindy Moreno was a friend to everyone, she had a heart of gold and would give you the shirt off her back. There was never a dull moment when she was around. You were just drawn to her warmth and inviting personality. She was a huge Cleveland Browns fan, and with great pride, she'd let everyone know it. She was an amazing mother and devoted wife to her husband David of 17 years. Her children were her entire world. She was a 2007 graduate of Ben Bolt High School. She was an absolutely wonderful daughter, sister, aunt, sister in law, cousin, granddaughter, and genuine friend. She had a smile that would light up the room and such a contagious laugh. To know her, was to love her. She is preceded in death by: Jose Escamilla Jr. (Father), Juvenal & Elia Perez (maternal grandparents), Jose Escamilla Sr. (Paternal grandfather), and Johnny Moreno (brother in law) She is survived by: David Moreno (Husband) of Ben Bolt, Eva Perez (Mother) of Ben Bolt, Siblings: Joe (Amy) Escamilla of Ben Bolt, Katie (Paul) Vela of San Antonio, Mark (Crystal) Escamilla of Alice, and Lea (Robert) Gomez of Kingsville, Grandmother Bernarda Escamilla of Alice. In Laws: Juan and Maria Elena Moreno of Palito Blanco, Ida (Richard) Green, Hilda (David) De La Paz, Noelia (the late Johnny) Moreno, Ricky Moreno. Aunts/Uncle: Emma (the late Romeo) Trejo, Adan (Brenda) Perez, Margie Molina, Janie (the late Jose Angel) Litchenberger; Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Pall Bearers for Cindy: Joe Escamilla, Paul Vela, Mark Escamilla, Juan Moreno III, David De La Paz, Eric De La Paz, Danny De La Paz, Ricardo Regino Pall Bearers for Avery and Aiden: Jacob Barrera, Agua Dulce Football & Basketball Team Honorary Pall Bearers: Ben Bolt Football & Basketball Team Visitation began on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2023 from 4PM to 7PM with a Rosary to be recited that same evening at 6PM in the Agua Dulce High School Gymnasium in Agua Dulce, Texas. Mass was celebrated on Monday, Feb. 6, 2023 at 10AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Alice, Tx. Burial followed in the Roberson Collins Memorial Cemetery in Alice, Texas.
