Albert Haisler Obituary
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Kay Benge; daughter, Michelle (Jon) Pohla and grandsons, Tyler and Connor Pohla; daughter, Lisa (Jeremy) Eggert and granddaughter, Lorelei Eggert and grandson, Alexander Eggert; sisters, Barbara Green, Susie (Terrell) Austin, and Dr. Linda Thomas and brother, Gene (Tabitha) Haisler.
He graduated from Agua Dulce High School in 1953 and went to Texas A&I College and Southwest Texas State University. He served in the United States Army. Al was an artist, musician, singer, chemical engineer and teacher who enjoyed delivering grandmas homemade noodle soup to homebound friends and neighbors. He sang in the First United Methodist choir for 58 years, Victoria Civic Chorus and Toast of the Coast Barber shop. He taught Chemistry, Physics and/or Physical Science for 32 years at Stroman High School.
A visitation will be on Friday, July 18, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at First United Methodist Church in Victoria, Texas. Funeral Service will be Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 10:00 AM at First United Methodist Church in Victoria with a light lunch at 11:00 AM at Wesley Hall followed by a Graveside Service at 2:00 PM at Oak Grove Cemetery in Yoakum, Texas.
Memorials may be made to the Scholarship Fund of Methodist Day School or FUMC.
Thoughts and memories may be shared online at www.gracefuneralhome.net.
Arrangements and services are under the personal care of Grace Funeral Homes and Cemeteries.

It´s so sad to see you go. You were an awesome Chemistry teacher back at Stroman HS so many years back. You made class fun and I amazed myself that I passed with a B in such a challenging class.
