Lillian "Lil" Davis-Myers, a beloved member of the Kingsville community, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2025, at the age of 95. Born on June 1, 1930, in Millersview, Texas, Lillian lived a life rich in kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for her family and friends.
As a dedicated sales associate for Lynn's Office Supply, Lillian not only excelled in her career but also created lasting bonds with her colleagues and customers, earning their respect and admiration throughout the years. Graduating from Agua Dulce High School provided her with a solid foundation, but it was her genuine spirit and outgoing personality that truly defined her.
Lillian's happiest moments were often spent surrounded by her family, especially during the cherished holidays. She had a special talent for bringing people together, often filling her home with the fragrant aroma of her famous peach cobbler, which she prepared for every Thanksgiving and Christmas, as well as on any other occasion that called for celebration. These memories will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the pleasure of sharing a meal with her.
Beyond her culinary skills, Lillian's passions included reading, traveling, gardening, baking, and cooking. She had an unwavering fascination with butterflies, seeing them as symbols of transformation and beauty in life. Her warm and cheerful demeanor made her a welcoming presence, and while she was always happy and kind, those who knew her understood that there was a fiery strength within her, one that could emerge if ever provoked.
Lillian gave back to her community through her volunteer work at the Kingsville Visitors Center and various local church ministries, reflecting her deep commitment to helping others. She was also a proud member of the Order of The Eastern Star, where she further formed connections within her community, leaving behind a legacy of service and fellowship.
Lillian Davis-Myers leaves behind a world that was undoubtedly made brighter by her kindness and love. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. She will be missed deeply, yet we take comfort in knowing that the memories of her joyful laugh and nurturing presence will forever remain with us.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George Myers; daughter, Cherie Davis; son, Robert Harvey Hester; parents, Ceasar “C.K.” and Lerona (Griffith) Niemann; father, Everett Davis; and brother, R.L. Davis.
