He was predeceased by his parents Melecio Gonzales Sr. and Antonia Villarreal Gonzales, and one sister, Ofelia Waldroop.
He will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Sylvia Gatewood, best friends Elvia Rodriguez and Angela Alvarez, and numerous family members.
Though, words were never an option, he still found a way to let those around him know of his love for them and the joy they brought him. Despite an existence different from most, he faced his challenges with strength, joy, & laughter- never remorse. He had such a pure and beautiful soul full of innocence and love that all who met him, left a small piece of their hearts. They knew they had met an angel hiding in plain sight.
Services will be celebrated at 10am on Saturday, April 4, 2026 at Kingdom Life Church at 811 W. 3rd St. Bishop. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
