Ophelia Barton Obituary

Ophelia Jane Barton, 49, passed away Dec. 12, 2020. OJ was formerly from Freer and she lived in Crosby, TX.

OJ was preceded in death by her mother Susan Forgues and her grandparents. She is survived by her husband David Barton. Survivors also include her father Truman Francis (Juanita) Fugle, brothers Francis T. and Levi (Laura) Fugle and their children Connor and Keira. Also included are her step siblings Kathryn, Jeremy, Jonathan Vasquez and Alix Forgues and their families. OJ is survived by aunts Loretta (Boyd) Digges and Janet (Tom) Caperton, Aunt Mary Carrasco, Sandra McMillan along with several cousins and their families.

OJ loved all her nieces and nephews and she expressed these feelings towards them in many ways.

The family wishes to express gratitude for the prayers, food, cards and loving expressions given to them at this time.

As her family we dearly miss her and look forward to the fulfillment of Jesus' words at Luke 23:43"...you will be with me in paradise."

So sorry about OJ. We just reconnected in 2018 after not seeing each other for many years. I was looking forward to a continued relationship and will miss her very much.
