David Thomas Skinner Obituary

Heflin - David Thomas Skinner, 63, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2009. Funeral services for Mr. Skinner will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at Dryden Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Larry Riddle officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 tonight at Dryden.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Cofield, Kerry Poland, Allen Skinner, Kenneth Campbell, Erby Harlan, Ken Skinner and Barry Owen.

Survivors include his two daughters, Caron (Clarence) Duckworth and Beverly (Patrick) Casey, both of Heflin; two brothers, James Skinner, of Huntsville and Reid Skinner, of Greenwood, S.C.; three grandchildren, Matthew Corban, Alexandra Casey and Benjamin Casey.

Mr. Skinner, a life long resident of Cleburne County, was an employee of H & S. Construction Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Flora Whitman Skinner.
