Timothy Raper

The funeral service for Timothy Raper, 59, of Largo, FL, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 21, 2025, at K.L. Brown Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Starling officiating. Burial will follow at Westpoint Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife, Jan Raper; mother, Melda Witherby; step-sister, Leigh Ann Blaylock (Ricky); special sister, Carol Garner; along with countless extended family and friends. Mr. Raper is preceded in death by his father, Charles Raper; brother, Tony Raper; and step-father, Michael Witherby. Tim was born in Charleston, SC, and grew up in the Jacksonville area. He worked as an aircraft maintenance technician and built lasting friendships with many of his colleagues at American Airlines in Charlotte, NC, and Tampa, FL. Tim was a talented guitar player and shared his love of music with many friends. He was also compassionate toward animals and cared for them greatly.
