George Dula Obituary

ANSONVILLE, N.C. — George Thomas Dula, 87, of Ansonville, passed away Monday, Jan. 11, 2016 at Anson Health and Rehab.

A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday at Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery with full military honors. The Rev. Robert Burr will officiate. The family will receive friends at the home of Ms. Sara Allen.

Mr. Dula was born on Dec. 9, 1928 in Anson County to the late Robert Boggan and Carrie Buddetta Allen Dula. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from Monroe Combine. George was a member at Ansonville United Methodist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Robert Dula.

He is survived by his sister Sara Dula Allen and brother Gid Dula (Louise) all of Ansonville; and nieces and nephews: William Boggan Allen (Diane), Lou Spivey (Mark), Janetta Dula, Robbie Dula and Stephen Dula. He is also survived by his caregiver, Pam Biles.

Memorials may be made to Ansonville United Methodist Church.
