BERNARD CONLON
COLTS NECK
Bernard "Bernie" Conlon, of Colts Neck and Pompano Beach, FL, took his final journey Friday, Jan. 29, 2010. He was born in Manhattan to Jack and Mary Conlon, Ireland.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joanna; two daughters, Ellen of Pompano Beach, FL and Kathleen of Charlottesville, VA; two grandsons, Montgomery and Niccolo; and a twin sister, Eleanor of Matawan.
A graduate of RBCH, Class of 1953, Rutgers School of Pharmacy, Class of 1957; decorated with the Medal of Honor a 1st Lieutenant in the US Marines. He was the owner/pharmacist of Dubois Pharmacy, Freehold; Chief Pharmacist for Monmouth County; the owner/ breeder/ driver of Standard Bred Race Horses, having the "joy" of the fastest 3 year old filly in the country, "Joanna's Time."
May the road rise to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back, 'till we meet again may the Lord hold you in the palm of his hands.

Rest in peace, Bernie. Thank you for being the Best Man at mine and Jim's wedding 51 years ago. We have all had some good times. You and Jim have a beer or two at heaven's Irish pub.
