DAVID M. BRYSON SR.
AGE: 73 JACKSON
David M. Bryson Sr., 73, of Jackson, passed away Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010, at home. He was born in South Amboy and resided there before moving to Jackson 30 years ago. David was employed in the produce department at ShopRite of Jackson. Prior to that, he worked for Haagen Daz of Woodbridge. Mr. Bryson was a communicant of St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, Jackson.
He was predeceased by his wife, Joan M. Bryson, in 2002; and his daughter, Debra Lee Bryson, in 1988. He is survived by his sons, Scott M. Bryson of Jackson, David M. Bryson Jr. of Sayreville, and Robert W. Bryson of Topeka, Kansas; his three grandchildren, Summer Lee Bryson, Jake M. Bryson, and Angela Debra Bryson; and his loving brother-in-law and best friend, George French of Cheesequake.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 3 at the George S. Hassler Funeral Home, 980 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson. His Funeral Liturgy will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson. A private cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942, or to the American Diabetes Association, New Jersey Office, CenterPointe II, Suite 103, 1160 Route 22 East, Bridgewater, NJ 08807, and would be greatly appreciated. I worked with Dave at the Shoprite in Jackson for the past few years.
I only work on the weekends and he would always be there to tease me about that. He was a lot of fun to joke around with and an all around nice guy. I will miss seeing him there and will miss our kidding around. My deepest sympathies go out to his family...he was a lovely man.

Mr. Bryson will be missed by us all. I enjoyed his company on St. Patricks Day with him, his son, and family and friends. May he rest in peace. My condolences to his family.
