Duane Hemmings Obituary
AGE: 51 • Keyport
Duane A. Hemmings, 51, of Keyport, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at his home. Duane was born on July 15, 1962 in Elizabeth and was raised in East Brunswick. In 1999, he settled in Keyport. Duane and his father, Bobby F. Hemmings, started their first business together in Highland Park called "White Rose System." After having success with their restaurant business in Highland Park, there were several others that were opened. "White Rose System" was a well known family business, with one of their most popular locations in Roselle.
Duane was predeceased by his sister, Pamela Ecke. Duane is survived by his loving parents, Bobby and Eileen (Shore) Hemmings; his beloved and devoted wife, Ellen M. Andreola; his cherished children, Royce J. Hemmings and Maryellen Rose Hemmings, both of Keyport; his adored step-son, Eugene J. Andreola and his wife Christina of Roselle Park, along with his dear sisters and brother, Debra Wercholak, Cynthia Roche, Cheryl MacDermant, Barbara Kashork, Joellen Turiano and Robert Hemmings and his many special nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, March 25th from 2 to 4 & 7 to 9PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3269 State Rt. 35 N, Hazlet. Prayer service approx 8:30 PM. In respect of Duane's wishes, he will be privately cremated. For information, directions or to send condolences to the family, visit, www.shorepointfh.com.

Oh Duane. You taught me a lot. You taught me to drive which some would say "oh boy" that's what your brother Robby said. You helped teach me the restaurant business which led me to owning one. You were always there for me and my family and I will never forget all you did for us back then. You were the big brother I never had! Though years went by without communication I never forgot ya bro! You stay out of trouble up there, I know that won't be easy! Love ya kid
