Frances T. Matejczak

AGE: 92 • Allenwood

Frances T. Matejczak passed away Friday, June 15, 2012 in Allenwood, N.J. She was 92 years of age. Born in New Brunswick, she resided in South River for over 50 years, before relocating to Allenwood. Frances worked as a secretary for Mack Truck Co. in New Brunswick for ten years, retiring in 1957. She was a member of Corpus Christi Church in South River.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ben Matejczak, who passed away in 1976; her brother, John Sharkey, and her sister, Honora Murock.

She is survived by her niece, Jean MacDonald and her husband, Michael of Sea Girt; her nephew, Bob Sharkey and his wife, Betty of Toms River; her sister-in-law, Blanche Sharkey of Toms River, as well as other nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, June 18 at Corpus Christi Church in South River. Burial will follow at St. Peters Cemetery, New Brunswick. Fran was my neighbor when we both lived on Rubin Street many years ago. She was the best neighbor I ever had. When she moved I missed her so very much.
Fran Rest in Peace. You will always be in my thoughts. God Bless You.

We met Fran when we bought her house and saw her at different times since then. Fran you were always so pleasant and it was always nice to see you. May God take you under his wing and bless you. Rest in Peace. You will always be remembered fondly.
