GERALD "JERRY" NILS NILSEN III
AGE: 30 WOODBRIDGE
Gerald "Jerry" Nils Nilsen III, 30, of the Avenel section of Woodbridge Township, died on September 3, 2009 at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy. Born in Rahway, he lived most of his life in Avenel. A graduate of Old Bridge High School, Jerry participated in the football and wrestling teams. He especially liked working out in the gym. He had been employed the last five years by Conrail as a Machine Operator 1st class.
Jerry is survived by his mother Margaret I. Toth of Avenel, his father Gerald Nils Nilsen, II, of Toms River, a brother Thomas Rigsby of Linden, grandparents Shirley and Gerald Nils Nilsen of Toms River. He is also survived by his uncle Bert Toth of Avenel, aunt and uncle Carmie and Carl Docton of Florida, and numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his immediate family, he also leaves his girlfriend of 5 years Jenifer.
Services will take place on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. from Flynn & Son Funeral Home, 23 Ford Ave., Fords. Cremation will take place privately. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 3-7p.m. Contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Two Princess Road, Suite D, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Chillin' outside admiring your bike. Sitting on it, while you gave me the rundown on what was what. Offering to go with me to get bike lessons.
