Jacqueline Aronson Obituary
AGE: 84 • Middletown
Jacqueline K. Aronson, 84, of Middletown, NJ, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, May 27, 2012. She was born in Omaha, NE, and lived in NYC for 17 years before moving to Middletown in 1969.
Jackie is survived by Howard, her devoted husband of 60 years, her son Michael of Seminole, FL, her daughter Ann of Aberdeen, NJ, and her sister Sandra Tenenbaum of Denver, CO.
Jackie, a graduate of Wells College in Aurora, NY, was very active in local affairs. Just a few are The Task Force For Better Schools in Middletown, Association For Improving Middletown (AIM), The Shade Tree Commission, MCOSS (now VNA-CNJ), and CPC Behavioral Health. In addition, she assisted in initiating the recycling center in Middletown, one of the first such centers in her area. She was dearly loved and respected by all who knew her.
A memorial service is planned for Thursday morning May 31st at 11 AM at the Monmouth Reform Temple at 332 Hance Avenue in Tinton Falls, NJ (732-747-9365), followed by a luncheon at the Navesink CC in Middletown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, you may contribute in her name to CPC Behavioral Health, Monmouth Conservation Foundation, Two River Theater Company or the Monmouth County SPCA.
Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean Twp. is in charge of arrangements. 732-493-4343.

Jackie....so very very special, married to a wonderful husband, with 2 wonderful children and I consider all of them my family, I have known them my entire life. My heart goes out to Howie, Mike, and Ancy. I love you all very much and always will.

Everytime I would see Jackie my day would become somehow brighter, with her sweet indearing smile and her loving hello. I will keep her with me. She will be truly missed.

Jackie was a Kevlar thread in the fabric of her community and a positive, can-do powerhouse in a petite, smiling package. She was a giver of all she had to give, especially her abundant love for Howie, her family, and her dear friends. I am honored to be one of those friends.

Jackie was a great delight to be with when we were both devotees of physical fitness at the New Woman. Her interests were right on target. Her tastes were impeccable. She was unique in so many ways. She has been missed for a long time.
