Keansburg - Joan Marie McConnell Weiss Geiger, passed away peacefully at home, on April 21st, 2021. A sister is more than a forever friend; she is a joy to the heart and love without end! Joan was born in Long Branch, lived in Union Beach, prior to moving to Keansburg. Joan graduated from Keyport High School and Middlesex Community College. She spent her career beginning in 1973 with a work study program at Holmdel Convalescent Center, where she remained as Food Service Supervisor until she retired in 1995. Joan was fun loving with a wonderful sense of humor. She loved to travel and particularly loved cruises. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Joan was predeceased by her parents; Harold McConnell and Dorothy Marie McConnell, her first husband; Gary Weiss, her husband; William Geiger in 2021. She is survived by her sisters; Kathleen McConnell, Susanne (Brian) Kutko and Marie Hanna. Her brothers; Thomas McConnell (Deborah Meyers), John (Arlene) McConnell, her twin. Her nieces and nephews; Adam (Maureen),Cooper and Melanie McConnell, Christopher and Michael Kutko. Her cousin; Richard Reznak. Funeral services will be private.
