Josephine "Jean" Turkowsky

AGE: 78 • Lavallette

Josephine "Jean" Turkowsky, 78, of Lavallette, NJ, passed away Tuesday, May 07, 2013 at Community Medical Center, Toms River.

Born in Cliffside Park, NJ, she lived in West New York, NJ then Ocean Beach III, where she spent decades enjoying the beach and building lifetime memories with her family and friends. Jean later moved to Lavallette in 1980.

Jean worked in Administration for Ocean Plumbing & Heating for many years.

Predeceased by her husband Arthur in 1997 and her brother Frank Cordasco, Jr.

Surviving are a son Arthur Turkowsky of Ortley Beach, NJ, 2 daughters Donna Drummond of Toms River and Lynn Saez and her husband Nelson of Beachwood, NJ; 5 grandchildren Arthur IV, Nicole, Deanna, Nelson III and Brittany; and a sister in law June Judge and her husband Arthur of Newfoundland, NJ.

The family will receive friends Thursday 9:00am to 10:30am at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 995 Fischer Blvd., Toms River, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Seaside Heights, NJ. Entombment to follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
