William Flory Obituary

A retired employee of ExxonMobil in Baton Rouge, he died Monday, Jan. 26, 2009, at his home in Donaldsonville. He was 64, a native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Christian Life Center Pentecostal Church, 172 Spur 70, Plattenville, on Thursday, Jan. 29, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting resumes at the church on Friday, Jan. 30, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by Jim Blanchard, pastor. Burial in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by foster daughter, Dorie Durden; foster granddaughter, Beth Ann Ratley, Denham Springs; caregivers, Rose Preston, Neil Desjardins, pastor, and Mrs. Jim Blanchard and the church family of Christian Life Center in Plattenville. Preceded in death by his mother, Margery Flory. Arrangements by Williams & Southall Funeral Home, Napoleonville, (985) 369-7231. I am so saddened to hear of "brother" Bill's passing. I thought so much of him, and his HUGE kind heart. I've missed him,and his mother ( Foster Drive church- ages ago). My prayers are with you all.
