Meghan Pettersen Wolfe

Meghan Pettersen Wolfe, 34, of South Toms River, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at her home.

Meghan was born in Neptune, grew up in Brick and graduated from Brick Memorial High School. She has lived in South Toms River for several years. She worked as a Home Health Aide for Preferred Behavioral Health. Before that she had worked as an animal control officer in Brick. She loved animals, bird watching, gardening and music.

Meghan is survived by her beloved husband of 7 years, Chuck Wolfe. She is also survived by her parents, Alan and Heidi Berndt of Brick, and her siblings Alan Berndt (Irena) of Pennsylvania, Michael Cintron (Heather) of Brick, Jennifer Berndt of Michigan and Marissa Berndt of Brick. Also surviving are Meghan's nephew and nieces, Avery White, and Sofia and Katrina Berndt as well as her brother-in-law Philip Wolfe and other relatives and friends. Meghan was predeceased by her beloved dog Polaris, and will be terribly missed by her dogs, Oden and Solace.

Visitation will be at O'Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick, on Saturday, January 14, 2017, from 12 - 3:30 PM followed by a funeral service at 3:30 PM.
