My dad at Brielle Day

So hard to believe ... on the way to the beach, passing by the house ... seeing the car in the drive and often just stopping by to chat ... our loss remains distinct, profound, and most unbelievable that you're no longer there. Brielle will never be the same. His Dad before him, and he, were somewhat of an anchor, and made Brielle Brielle ... as I knew it, moving here 41 years ago. I really miss him. There's a very obvious empty spot in our town. (( Hugs )) for the family.

Dear Sheila and family,
I knew your Dad for about 30 years from conferences and conventions. He always had a story to tell, and something to sell!
He and Dad know each other from politics for about 40 years, and Dad alwyas came home with a fun story about Bob.
Our condolences,
Rick Kniesler

"Robert" .. "Bob" .. "Bobby" .. "Zorch" .. "Mr. Mayor" .. Thank you for your service to our hometown and to our country. "Let There Be Peace on Earth, and Let It Begin With Me" ... oh, so appropriate and timely. You made a 'difference', and many will miss you ... as will I. Rest in Peace dear soldier.

Bob was always the "bright spot" in our days in the office at Burke - way back when. We have stayed in touch over the years and he will surely be missed. I would like to send my condolences to the entire family!

Saddened by the loss of your Dad. He was a 'mover' and a 'shaker', 'git'er done' kinda' fella, dedicated to the project at hand. As did Jesse, his father, Bob made his 'mark' with a deep, caring concern for Brielle ... always giving way to his deep-seated pride and love for his children. Although Bob and I often disagreed on 'political' issues ... many times sought his "what d'ya think" ... I will always have great respect for the entire Collinson family ... lifetime friendships with many of his relatives through school, church, and neighborhood 'family' life throughout New Jersey. The town's fabric weakens as Brielle will miss this "guy to go to", as will I. Kind thoughts and hugs for you each, Sheila, Bobby, Kevin, Karen, and Kelly ... as you stand proud and tall being a "Collinson".
