Robert Giglio Obituary
AGE: 35 • Ocean Grove
Robert S. Giglio, 35, of Ocean Grove, died Monday, September 23, 2013. He was born in Long Branch and grew up in Ocean Township. He graduated from Monmouth University with a degree in communications.
He worked for local radio stations including 94.3 The Point and 107.1 The Breeze. After that, he worked at Carson's Food Service in Ocean for several years. Surviving are his parents, Robert & Linda Giglio and his sister Jennifer Giglio and his fiancé Catrina.
Services are private by the Fiore Funeral Home, Oakhurst. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to American Red Cross Blood Bank. For condolences, please visit www.fiorefuneralhomes.com

Gigs I will always remember your laugh and your polite ways at my home. You and the rest of the gang who always hung out here playing pool, talking and laughing and sharing your stories with me. These will always be fond memories. I will always miss the positive energy that you radiated. May you rest in peace and know that you were loved by many. My sympathy goes out to the Giglio family who were so loving to my son Ian. My sympathy also goes out to Catrina.

My deepest and most sincere condolences go to the Giglio family and all of Rob's loved ones.
Rob was one of a kind. Honest, hard-working, principled and just, endearing. A great guy, an even better friend. I will miss you. And I know when I am not quite as sad as I am now, when I think of you, it will always bring a smile to my face.

Bobby & I were Bert & Ernie for many years, even called ourselves that once or twice. We shared a sense of place and understanding in this world, that made us brothers. His home & the Giglio Family, felt like home to me. Gigs, more than anyone else, you opened up my eyes and influenced who I am today. I will forever love you and honor your memory. RIP Brother!
