Robert A. Johnston

AGE: 28 • Brick

Robert A. Johnston, age 28 passed away Monday, May 18th, 2015, he was a life- long resident of Brick. Rob was born in Seoul, South Korea on June 7, 1986 and was adopted in October of 1986 by his parents, Arthur and Joan Johnston. Rob was a 2004 graduate of Brick Memorial high school and went on to attend Ocean County College. He worked for Lowes Home Improvement Store in Brick. In his leisure time Rob enjoyed going to concerts, playing the guitar and listening to music. One of his greatest accomplishments was attaining a black belt in martial arts. He continued his love of martial arts and went on to mastering the art of jiu jitsu. Rob loved all animal creatures great and small and enjoyed fishing. He was a loving son, brother nephew and friend and will be greatly missed.

Rob is survived by his loving parents, Arthur and Joan Johnston, by his sister, Kristine Johnston, many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his dog Daisy and puppy Murphy whom he loved and enjoyed playing with.

A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, May 30th, 2015 from 1:00 to 4:00pm with a 3:30pm prayer service at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Highway 88 Brick, NJ 08724. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Rob's memory to the Popcorn Park Zoo, 1 Humane Way, Forked River, NJ 08731. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.colonialfuneralgroup.com
