STELLA BLUJ
AGE: 91 UNION
Stella (Higginson) Bluj, 91, passed away on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at The Pavilions at Forrestal in Princeton. She was born in Newark. Stella grew up in both Newark and Irvington before moving to Union where she was a long time resident. Stella was a Line Manager for GM Hyatt, a subdivision of General Motors, in Clark for 30 years before retiring. Stella was a member of Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church in Cedar Knolls. She was a former member of Sacred Heart Church in Irvington and Holy Spirit Church in Union.
She was pre-deceased by her first husband, Raymond Higginson (1956) and her son, Richard Higginson (2009). She is survived by her husband, Frank; her sons, Thomas F. Bluj and his wife, Beth of Parsippany, John Higginson and his wife, Sophie of Marlboro, and Edward Higginson and his wife, Eva of Asheville, N.C.; her 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral on Friday, May 28th 2010 at 8:45a.m. from the Par-Troy Funeral Home, 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany. (973)887-3235 or visit www.partroyfuneralhome.com. With the Liturgy of Christian Burial to be offered at 10:00a.m. at Notre Dame of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church, 75 Ridgedale Ave., Cedar Knolls. Internment: Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Visiting hours are Today, Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at the funeral home.

Dear Frank and Tom,
So sorry to hear of your wife/mother's passing. She did make it to a ripe age of 91 though. She was a dear lady, a good friend and neighbor. I remember Stacy going in to show her new shoes off to her when she was two years old! I hope you will have many happy memories of her.
