Vincenzo Russo, 80, of Ocean Township, died Friday, November 24, 2017. He was born in Sant'Antimo, Naples, Italy. He came to this country in 1960 living in Asbury Park before moving to Wanamassa in 1965. He was the owner of Vincent Russo and Sons Plumbing and Heating for the past 43 years. He was a member and past president of the Sons of Italy in Asbury Park, a member and past president of the Figli di Colombo in Long Branch, and a member of IAATO in Ocean Township. You could always find him working the zeppola stand at the Italian Festival during the summer.

Vincenzo was predeceased by his parents, Antimo and Bianca Russo and two brothers, Andrea and Aldo Russo.

Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Rose Marie Dellomo Russo; his children, Antimo and his wife Rosann Russo, Bianca and her husband Cosimo Franze, Giovanna and her husband Michael DiIusto and Luigi Russo and fiancé Shanna McCourt; 8 grandchildren, Rosa and Gabriella Russo, Vincenzo, Rosa and Cosimo Franze and Bianca, Michael and Joseph DiIusto as well as 2 sisters and 5 brothers in Italy.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit from 2-4 and 7-9pm Tuesday at the Fiore Funeral Home, 236 Monmouth Road, Oakhurst, Ocean Township. Funeral 9:30 am Wednesday from the funeral home followed by a 10:30 am Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Asbury Park. Entombment at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Neptune.
