Holmdel - Vita Lucania, 103, of Holmdel, NJ, joined God in Heaven on September 8, 2019. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2019 from 4-8 pm at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered on Friday, September 13, 2019 at 11 am at St. Benedict RC Church, 165 Bethany Rd., Holmdel. Aunt Vita, my Godmother I been missing you for along time. I always wanted to reconnect with you. As a young child to a young adult, I always loved visiting you and Uncle Joe. You had such beautiful roses in your garden and great smelling basil. I loved bringing home my care package and remembering the car filled with wonderful smell of basil. And... sometimes if I was lucky enough to have your delish browns and homemade apple sauce. I could just see Uncle Joe's face light up when he was eating it. I miss you and wish I could go back in time to one of my favorite places and be with you at your home with Uncle Joe, mom and dad. Eating Lobster and spagetti . Love you and miss you with a broken heart. Love your forever, niece Claudia Campanile-Clappsy
