Walter joined our group, the Ocean County Genealogical Society late in 2011. Although we didn't have the pleasure of knowing Walter for long, I remember talking to him and was so impressed with how enthused he was about genealogy and history. Such a shame that he passed away after working so hard to get that history degree later in life (just this past 2011!). How sad for him and all those loved ones who will miss him. Please accept our sincerest and deepest sympathies for the loss of a gentle man. The Burris Family is in our prayers.
