WILLIAM H. VAN NOTE
AGE: 75 BRICK
William H. Van Note, 75, of Brick, passed away Sunday, May 30, 2010, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born April 26, 1935 in Neptune, he grew up in Asbury Park and was a graduate of Asbury Park High School Class of 1953. William had lived in Neptune City for 27 years, where he served on the Neptune City Planning Board before moving to Brick in 1988. He started his banking career at Asbury Park Ocean Grove Bank in Asbury Park. This was followed by 30 years at Central Jersey Bank and Trust Co. Most recently, he had been employed by Circle Dodge in Brick.
Predeceased by his brother, Robert H. Van Note, William is survived by his ex-wife and lifelong friend, Sylvia M. Van Note of Brick; two sons, William H. Jr. and his wife Cathy of Brick, and James and his wife Lisa of Brick; three daughters, Cynthia Kyser of Columbus, Debra Connelly and husband Brian of Brick, and Patricia Kinhofer and husband Rainer Sr. of Jacksonville, Fla.; 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Gerald Van Note and wife Hanna of Amarillo, Texas. He will be missed by his cat, Peaches.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday, June 3 until the time of the funeral service at 8 p.m. at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 505 Burnt Tavern Road, Brick.
