Blakely Davis Obituary
A kindhearted man, Blake Davis (63) of Hallwood, CA, passed away on June 23, 2024.
Blake was born in Fresno, CA, in July of 1960, to Calvin and LaWanda Davis. He was the baby of four boys, and boy was he proud of it. Being the baby taught him to be a fighter as Blake battled and won the fight through childhood Lymphoma at the young age of 14. He went on to graduate from Marysville High School. He was proud to be an Indian!
Blake had a knack for finding his passions in careers, beginning with the Police academy, Farming, and his ultimate lifelong passion of trucking. Blake drove long-haul truck for the better part of his life up and down the west coast.
Blake had a heart as wide as the Mojave and displayed it for everyone to see. Anyone who knew him could see his heart through his love for animals. His little pup Rowdy was the light of his days.
Blake is survived by his children: son, Joshua Davis (Amanda Trujillo); his daughter, Katelyn Wilson (Jack Wilson); and his six grandchildren, Aliana Trujillo, Kaiden Davis, Alexia Davis, Alivia Davis, Emerlyn Wilson and Benton Wilson. He is also survived by his loving brothers, Patrick Davis (Pamela Davis), Brenton Davis (DeLisa Davis), and Martin Davis (Sabine Davis), and their children, Deborah Burt (Ron Burt), Danielle Young (Grant Young), Mariah Davis (Scott McClarrinon), Zebulon Davis (Heather Temple-Davis), Janna Gallagher (James Gallagher), Tamara Squires, and Nicholas Davis (Gina Davis). Lastly, he is survived by his dearest friend, James Kraus.
Please join us in helping honor his life. Services will be held at The Bride Church located at 1321 Peach Tree Ln., Yuba City, CA, on August 3, 2024, at 11am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Bride Church.

I met Blake 6 months ago from an ad I placed on line for help on a piece of equipment. He came over and went above and beyond to help. We had great conversations and he loved my brownies! Took him out to dinner in Grass Valley as a thank you it was fun. Came back from vacation and he never called then I found this, it made me sick to my stomach. Wish we had more time. to the family.

It is with a sad heart I read about the passing if Blake. He would ride with me often when I was a Cpl and Sergeant at Yuba City P.D. He was always eager to learn and possessed a God given kind heart.

Dear Cousins, I am so sorry for the loss of your little brother, Blake. I have many happy memories of growing up in Hallwood with my sweet, handsome cousins! I really didn´t know Blake all that well but we used to belong to the same rifle club when we were kids. I remember giving him rides to a couple of our competitions. I also remember one time he pulled me and a friend of mine over in Marysville one Friday or Saturday night and he did a huge favor by not taking us to jail which is probably where we should have gone! Like I say, I never really knew him that well but from what I remember he always was a nice guy. I hated to see that he had passed away. RIP Blake and my condolences to his family and friends.

I grew up with Blake and went to Cordua School with him. My sisters and I played with Blake and Tommy Randolph often as kids. I am so sorry to hear of his passing RIP Blake.
