Larry Wiehn Obituary

Larry William Wiehn, of Yuba City, California, passed away on Sunday April 4, 2021, at the age of 82. After several months of declining health, due to Congestive Heart Failure, Larry passed away at peace.

Larry was born in Marysville, CA, on April 9, 1938, to his father, Russell William Wiehn and mother, Gladys Marie Wiehn. Larry was an only child and graduated from Marysville High School in 1956. He stayed local and only ventured away after being drafted for his two year service in the United States Army.

In 1961, Larry married the love of his life, Connie. They had three children, Gary, Deanna and Stella Ann. After serving Yuba County as a Road Supervisor for 30 years, Larry retired and did what he loved most; spending time with Connie and Fishing.

Larry enjoyed spending time with Connie and working in their beautiful flower garden for hours on end and going to yard sales or softball games together on the weekends. He loved to attend or watch Sacramento Kings games every chance he could with Connie. When he wasn't with Connie, he was out on his fishing boat reeling in the biggest salmon in the river for her to cook up for dinner.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents; son, Gary Wiehn; and daughter, Stella Ann Wiehn.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Consuelo "Connie" Wiehn of Yuba City; daughter, Deanna Rodriguez and son-in-law, Robert Rodriguez of Yuba City; daughter-in-law, Gina Wiehn of Gridley; and granddaughter, Jamie Quirino Bautista and her husband, Jovanny Quirino Bautista of Rio Vista.

A service is planned for Saturday, April 17, 2021, at 11am, at Lipp and Sullivan Funeral Directors, 629 D Street, Marysville, CA 95901.

All are welcome to attend. The reception will follow immediately after at Carlitos Mexican Restaurant, 885 Richland Road, Yuba City, CA 95991.
