Ronald Baadsgaard Obituary
Our dear father, Ronald N. Baadsgaard, passed January 30, 2022, to be reunited with our beloved mother, Linda, apart for 24 years.
Dad was born April 3rd, 1940, in Sidney, Montana, and raised on the Montana family farm, the 5th of 6 children, with twin sister, Marlene. The best dad ever, his greatest joy was to become a papa, and grandpa, staying involved in his 4 grandchildren's lives, instilling by example, love and loyalty to family.
As a young man, he ventured to the wild west of California, to find a position as a "Garbage Man." He worked his way up to Operations Management during his 43 years with YSDI.
Grandpa, papa, dad, father-in-law, brother, and Uncle Ronnie; he has left us with loving memories and a knowledge that he has cherished his life, knowing it to be a good life.
Ron is survived by daughter, Milissa, with grandson, Ryan; son, John and his wife, Heather and grandchildren, Sarah, Brian, and Logan; twin sister, Marlene Reints and family, of Ennis, Montana; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Niels and Nora Baadsgaard; wife, Linda; and 4 siblings, Holger, Harriet, Edith and Sharon.
Please help us honor our father with viewing to be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, from 5-7 pm, at Holycross Memorial Service, located at 486 Bridge St., Yuba City, 95991 and graveside services on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at 2 pm, at Sutter Cemetery, located at 7200 Butte Ave., Sutter, 95982.

We will miss Ronnie so very much. I wish we had lived closer to him, but it was always great to see him on his Montana visits! I will never forget our trip through Yellowstone Park! Kept us laughing a lot that day. We were in a Ford Focus and I'm sure it wasn't the best of rides for him but he was all smiles and jokes! I'm sure he and my sister Linda are so happy to see each other again! Rest in peace Ron! You lived a life full of love and we were blessed that you were a part of our family!
