Lyn and I moved to Athens the summer of 1967 when both of our husbands joined the philosophy department at Ohio University. Dick and Lyn were good to be with at the numerous events of faculty through the decades. Our children grew up together in Athens schools and Athens sports programs. Lyn has been a kind and dear friend these many years. Don and I send condolences to her family. Mary Ellen Borchert

I have many good memories of time spent with Lyn, both at the Outerbanks with Dick and their adult children and at Church of the Good Shepherd preparing free meals. Good conversation and laughs shared over the years at dinner parties and Valentine’s Day celebrations. Kind, smart and enjoyable company, Lyn will be missed.
