Family-Placed Death Notice
ALLISON, Donald A Homegoing Celebration honoring the life of Mr. Donald L. Allison, formerly of Atlanta, Georgia will be held Tuesday, September 25, 2012, 1:00 p.m. at Siloam Church International, 3695 Roosevelt Highway, College Park, Georgia, Dr. Jonathon C. Carter, Pastor; Bishop C. L. Carter, officiating. Interment, South-View Cemetery. Remains will lie in repose from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Survivors are: eight sons, Mr. Donald B. Allison, Mr. and Mrs. Keith L. Allison (Sorita), Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Allison (Jessica), Mr. Timothy Allison, Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Allison (Latasha), Mr. Larmarcus Allison, Mr. Brandon Allison and Mr. Zachary Allison; six daughters, Mrs. Roselind Perry, Mr. and Mrs. Cynthia Pugh (William), Ms. Felecia Allison, Ms. Lakeisha Allison, Ms. Tamika Allison and Ms. Knitra Allison; one sister, Paulette Grier; three brothers-in-law, two sisters-in-law, ninety-two grandchildren, forty-one great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. I can't say that I know exactly how you feel, however I can say that I do know what it is like to lose a beloved father. –And I found a measure of comfort in Psalm 27:10 which tells us: “In case my own father and my own mother did leave me, even God himself would take me up”. May you and your family rely upon Him and receive the comfort that you need during this time and grief and loss. My sincere condolences to each of you.
