Condolences to all of the Hamilton Jr. family. I remember Duck giving me a loan for a car back in the Seventies. Duck was always your friend, he would always speak to us on the ramp. Captain Jim, better know in Atlanta as Duck, it was a pleasure to know you sir. God Bless you and Stephanie, Jesus is coming back one day to bring you'all back from the grave. Heaven awaits those who believe in God, John 3;16 For those who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. I'm shocked though as our entire Piedmont family is at this difficult time. We don't know why or how this could happen, Captain Jim {Duck} and Stephanie you are Loved by the people you touched. Darwin Edwards Ramp Agent known as Big ED Fayetteville GA

Jim was a very wise man with many talents...as you may hear, "it takes a village to raise a child", he was part of the village that "raised" me. He was a huge support for me during the years following my high school graduation. I remember all the chats we had about what I wanted to do with my life. I will treasure his advice and memories. My heart is sad the he and Stephanie are gone. Much love to Emilie and Family. Delyn Kennedy, daughter of Jack Benedict, Piedmont Pilot

I was honored to work as ATL flight attendant w/ Jim at Piedmont '69-'78 and also banked at Bank of Palmetto. What a sweet man. My condolences go out to his family and friends. I didn't know Stephanie, but am happy for their years together.

I am sorry for your loss. Please keep in mind the admonition at James 4:8 which encourages us to draw close to God, and in turn, he will draw close to us.

Duck and I were elected to the State Senate in 1974 and I enjoyed every minute we served together. He had a great sense of humor but he was serious about the State's business. Deepest sympathy to his family and many friends.

Jim you have been my left arm for so many years. You were the funniest most brillant man I ever met. Losing you and Steph has left me devasted. I know you and Beau are telling stories. The Piedmont Silver Eagles will never be the same without you. Your flight to the West was much to soon. Will take care of Emilie. Love you Brother
